# User profiles

# Choosing Profile

eCall lets you choose the user profile which suits your needs best.

* Are you satisfied with the basic functions (sending and receiving messages)? Then choose the 'Standard' profile.
* Would you like to benefit from additional features (folders, notebook, etc.)? Then choose the 'Extended' profile.

You can switch to another profile at any time without losing your data.

**Standard profile**
Choose this profile if you only wish to use the basic functions by eCall. All the functions for sending and receiving messages are at your disposal.

**Extended profile**
The extended profile includes a variety of functions in addition to the basic functions of the standard profile. Have you listed a huge amount of persons and groups in your address book? Use folders to file your data in a better and easier way.
