Country restrictions and daily limits for SMS messaging

eCall allows you to define country restrictions and daily limits for sending SMS messages. Specify the countries to which messages may be sent and set the applicable daily limits. You can also activate an email notification to be informed as soon as a defined daily limit has been reached.

With country restrictions and daily limits, you stay in control of your SMS traffic. This helps increase security, prevent unexpectedly high sending costs, and ensure that messages are sent only to approved destination countries. The email notification alerts you promptly when a daily limit is reached, allowing you to take action if required.

Important: Once this function has been activated, eCall will only send SMS messages to the countries you have selected and only up to the defined daily limit.

Once the daily limit has been reached, eCall blocks SMS sending to the respective country. The daily limit is automatically reset to the value you have configured at 00:00. To reset the limit immediately, click the “Unblock” button.
