Notification (SMS)

Notification

The command %Notification% enables eCall to send a confirmation of transmission for an instruction from a mobile phone (i.e. a read-out that the mobile phone has received a message or a communication from the SMS service that the message could not be executed within a certain period).

The instruction can be one of the following formats:

%Notification%
%Notification:<E-Mail-Address>%
%Notification:<Pager-Number>%
%Notification:<Mobile-Number>%

If no e-mail address or phone number is entered the address for the confirmation of receipt will be taken from the account settings if one has been entered.

Example 1:

Confirmation of receipt via e-mail

An e-mail containing: 'This is a message with %Notification:john.smith@company.com% confirmationreceipt via e-mail' produces the following message on a mobile phone: 'This is a message with confirmationreceipt via e-mail'

eCall sends an e-mail to the address john.smith at company.com as soon as the mobile phone has received the message.

Example 2:

Confirmation of receipt from a pager

An e-mail containing: 'This is a message with a confirmation of receipt %Notification:0740121212% to a pager' produces the following message on a mobile phone: 'This is a message with a confirmation of receipt to a pager'

eCall sends a message to the Telepage Swiss Pager number 074/0121212 as soon as the mobile phone has received the message.
